Parma chairman, Tommaso Ghirardi, asked if he was interested in Giovinco in interview with Sky, replied: "Giovinco is a great player who has not shown all his skill yet because he needs to play more. Parma have launched many young players and Giovinco could meet our requirements. However, the situation has to be further evaluated and the player should be convinced to accept another club where he could become a leader ".
