Suspended Gabbiadini to skip Juve clash, Medel given three-match ban

Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini has been suspended for two games and will miss Saturday’s Serie A clash against Juventus.

The Italian hit-man was given a straight red card in the 31st minute on yesterday’s Crotone-Napoli for violent conduct against an opponent who had committed a foul on him in centre midfield.

Medel has also been found guilty of violent conduct, though the referee of Atalanta-Inter did not notice his foul on Atalanta’s Jasmin Kurtic. The Chile International has received a three-match ban after reviewing TV evidence.

Medel will miss games against Torino, Sampdoria and Crotone.

Chievo midfielder Castro is set to miss Wednesday’s Bologna clash, whilst Atalanta boss Gasperini has also been banned for the next Serie A clash.
