The Italian midfielder has decided to extend his stay at the club until 2020 and is going to get a pay rise following his brilliant performances with the club over the last few seasons.

Bonaventura’s current salary is around € 1 million a year and the new one will be in the region of € 2.5 million a year.

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has had several meetings with the player’s agent Mino Raiola and the two parties have finally managed to find economic agreement to extend the player’s stay at the club until 2020.

The Serie A giants are expected to release an official announcement soon, but Bonaventura and the club have reached a total agreement and the release of an official announcement is now just a matter of time.

Galliani will meet Raiola again soon in order to discuss the contract extension of another big client of the Italian players’ agent as the rossoneri want Gianluigi Donnarumma to commit his future to the club signing his first pro contract before the 25th of February 2017 when the player turns 18.
