Some memories stay with you forever. Whether it's Paolo Di Canio's splendid volleyed winner (and horrific celebration) against Roma in 2004, Lucas Castroman's last-minute strike, Francesco Totti's t-shirt, Roma's 5-1 win, some things are impossible to forget.

Despite not enjoying the best of times at the Olimpico, Olympique Lyonnais centre-back and France hopeful Mapou Yanga-M'Biwa will always cherish one moment of his Roma career, a winning goal in last year's Derby della Capitale which has earned him a place in Giallorossi hearts forever.

"I remember everything of the Derbies I have played in: the atmosphere, the fans, their joy," Yanga-M'Biwa revealed on the eve of the Derby.

"The goal I scored in last year's derby was the most beautiful, the most important goal; I've ever scored.

    "It changed my life forever."

Yanga-M'Biwa also said that Roman-born, dyed-in-the-wool Romanisti like Totti, De Rossi and Florenzi were on hand to remind their itnernational team-mates exactly what was at stake.

"Before kickoff, players born and raised in Rome like De Rossi, Totti and Florenzi tried to explain to me just how important the game was.

"I'd tried to gather information by myself, but I could never have imagined the kind of reaction I was in for after scoring the winner."
