Long time Inter, Juventus and Napoli target Marko Grujic is ready to sign with Liverpool on a € 5 million deal.

The Red Star Belgrade ace met Inter’s assistant coach Dejan Stankovic last month and rumors suggested that he was ready to sign with the San Siro side.

Trouble is, Inter were ready to sign and loan the player to Atalanta or Chievo until the end of the season, to let the player gain some Serie A experience.

At the same time, Juventus seemed interested in the player’s services too, with the Old Lady that wanted to buy the 19-year-old midfielder from the Serbian SuperLiga team and loan him to Sassuolo for six months.

Grujic, by the way, wanted to join a team that trusted him completely and that’s why he chose to sign with Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp’s side are in advanced talks over the player’s transfer and an agreement between the two sides seems to be imminent.

The U-20 Serbian World Cup champions will remain on loan at his current club until the end of the season becoming a new Liverpool player from June 2016.

Belgian side Anderlecht have also offered € 4 million plus bonuses to secure the player’s services, though Grujic would prefer to sign with a bigger club like the Reds.

Will he be the next Anfield star?
