Inter: plan for Lucas. AC Milan: back for Baselli

Inter Milan remain extremely active on the transfer market, and one of their priorities for the current window is the signing of a midfielder: as reported in the last days, the nerazzurri are observing the situation of 29-year-old Lassana Diarra, who is waiting to obtain from FIFA the termination of his contract with Lokomotiv Moscow: two valid alternatives to the Frenchman could be Liverpool 27-year-old Lucas Pezzini Leiva and Hamburg 24-year-old Tolgay Arslan, and the center back could offer one between 33-year-old center back Nemanja Vidic and 28-year-old Fredy Guarin to the Reds or 27-year-old Zdracko Kuzmanovic to the Germans. Another priority for Inter is reinforcing their offensive line with a skilled winger or attacking midfielder, and they keep on tracking Bayern Munich 23-year-old Xherdan Shaqiri: as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the nerazzurri’s General Manager Marco Fassone will meet today the Bavarian club’s chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, and will try to increase the offer for the Switzerland international, who is perhaps also a target for Liverpool. A meeting is scheduled today also with Hajduk Split regarding 22-year-old midfielder Tino-Sven Susic.

Also city rivals AC Milan are seeking a midfielder, and, as reported by Il Corriere di Bergamo, are keen again on Atalanta 22-year-old Daniele Baselli, also tracked by Sampdoria and valued 10 million euros.
