Inter starlet handed two-year ban for slapping referee
Inter U17 star Wilfried Zate Gnoukouri, younger brother to Inter’s first team midfielder Assane Gnoukouri, has been handed a two-year ban for slapping a referee.
The incident occurred during the San Bonifacio Trophy where he was sent off against Atalanta for dissent, prompting him to strike the referee.
His actions have landed the youth player a hefty ban until May 9, 2018, although Inter plan to launch an appeal to reduce the player’s ban. To see the video, click here.
