PSG's Sirigu: 'I could have left in January'

Interviewed by Sky, Paris Saint-Germain 29-year-old goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu said: “In January, if I would have received an important offer, I would have left. It didn’t happen, so I decided to do my best until the end, playing my chances in the international competitions. I won’t give up, I will work hard, preparing the games at the best. Then, at the end of the season, we’ll see; in football, you never know”.
“If Lavezzi will go to China” the Italian shot stopper added “it will be a great loss for the dressing room, as he is a reference for all of us. Of course, he must do what he thinks it’s the best for himself at the moment”.
