REVEALED: Which attackers will stay and which will leave Fiorentina?
To say that Fiorentina are in transition right now would be a bit of an understatement, at least with regards to their attack.
The Gazzetta dello Sport claims that a number of strikers are set to leave… but that a surprise player may stay.
One of the obvious candidates to leave, Mario Gomez, is still headed for the exit, his salary being considered too expensive.
Khouma Babacar is set to leave, too, but Fiorentina want an offer in the double figures, and are also awaiting a bid from one of the English clubs that is reportedly interested, including (but not limited to) West Ham, Boro and Crystal Palace.
Whilst Mauro Zarate’s future is still uncertain… Giuseppe Rossi may wind up staying, or at least making it to summer camp with the Viola in a few days’ time.
Fiorentina are taking their time, with Coach Paulo Sousa set to test the Italian to see what he makes of him. Either way, they have options, with Bologna and Villareal interested.
