Sousa admits that Borja Valero could have moved to Roma
The two attacking coaches face off on Matchday 4, with Fiorentina welcoming Roma.
The Portuguese gaffer had news which didn't strictly regard the game, or at least this weekend's match in particular. Rather, he expounded upon the possible departure of star midfielder Borja Valero.
The Spaniard was linked to a move to the capital, while the Viola were busy shedding players having posted losses of 40 million since 2014.
“I was realistic [about it], it was something that could have happened with him [Borja Valero} or with other players.” Sousa confirmed.
“I was calm, and thinking only about the players that I had, to help them reach peak performance”.
