Using one point for each yellow card and three for a red, calciomercato.com (with the help of our friends at Opta) can reveal which are the dirtiest team in Serie A this season.

As far as the big clubs are concerned, you’d be surprised to find out that Inter and Juventus are among the ten clubs with the worst discipline after 15 Serie A games.

The Nerazzurri sit fourth with 49 points (34 yellow cards and 5 reds), while the Bianconeri are 7th (48 points, 39 yellow cards and 3 reds).

Three out of the current top six Serie A clubs feature among the ten teams with the worst discipline, as Sassuolo sit third with 43 yellow and three reds.

Genoa and Atalanta players are the ones who have been shown the most red cards thus far (7 each). It is not a case that the Grifone and La Dea are also the dirtiest Serie A clubs thus far.

On the other hand, Napoli are the only team that have not received a single red card this term with Maurizio Sarri’s lads who have the best disciplinary record in the league.
