Italian legend rules out future MLS move

Udinese legend Antonio Di Natale told Italian magazine Rivista Undici he’s not going to move to the MLS at the end of the season and that he considers Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne his heir.

“He’s the most similar one to me. He’s an amazing player. We used to talk a lot before, when Napoli travelled here, he came into our dressing room looking for me.”

“I even told him: to become a real champion you have to start scoring goals, you can’t only provide assists, now he’s scoring much more regularly than what he used to.”

Alexis Sanchez is the best player I’ve ever played with and I’ve played with some great ones like Fabio Quagliarella or Vincenzo Iaquinta.”

“Sanchez is definitely the most complete. He was fast and strong: the best, better than me. He’s proving it at Arsenal and has proved it at Barcelona.”

“When I refused to move to Juve, I did a choice someone labeled as ‘crazy’. I’ve scored 208 goals with Udinese, that’s an important target, it means  I made the right choice.”

“Last year I received offers from three MLS teams, one was from New York. I went there on holiday but it’s not the place for me. People are rushing too much there.”
