Kasami: ‘I turned down Juve’
Former Palermo midfielder Pajtim Kasami claimed he received an offer from Juventus and turned it down in order to stay at Fulham.
The Swiss Under-21 player signed for Fulham last summer but the Bianconeri were hoping to bring him back to Serie A.
“I am honoured about the offer from such a great club such as Juventus,” Kasami explained. “However, I am half way into my first season at Fulham and at the moment I do not want to leave.”
“I haven’t been playing much lately and I cannot say I am happy about it, but I prefer to stay here and try my best to get into the team,” concluded Kasami, who has a contract running until June 2015
