The 23-year-old midfielder has been excluded from senior Lazio squad and has returned to London instead of training with the Serie A side’s second team.
According to the Italian paper, the former U-23 England International does not want to return to Rome to train apart from the senior squad and the Serie A club may decide to take legal action against him. Lazio could decide to halve the player’s salary or giving him several fines for not taking part to training sessions.
The Italian paper also claims that the club is not going to cancel Morrisons’ contract and that the player’s sale in the January transfer window is very likely.
Morrison is on a € 1m a year deal until 2018 and has only played 159 minutes with the biancocelesti since joining the club as a free agent in summer 2015.
