REVEALED: Lazio rejected € 50m Man Utd bid for Felipe Anderson last summer

Felipe Anderson came off the bench during Lazio’s 3-1 away victory to Fiorentina scoring his 5th goal in Serie A this season.

Before the Franchi clash, Lazio Sporting Director Igli Tare revealed that the Biancocelesti turned down Man Utd € 50 million bid for the Brazilian ace.

“I am going to tell you something that I have never revealed before,” Tare told Mediaset Premium.

“Last August we rejected Manchester United’s € 50 million offer for Felipe Anderson. We believe in him and we think that his value is much more than that.”

“He knows he needs to step up and we have talked a lot to him during this week. All the other clubs know how strong he is and defenders always pay close attention to him”.
