    Verona’s ‘curva sud’ sector closed after racial abuse towards Juventus’ Cuadrado

    Italy FA have punished Verona’s fans for racially abusing Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado during Sunday’s Serie A game between Verona and Juventus. The ‘curva sud’ sector will remain close for one game and given that the giallo-blu will play their last game of the season at Palermo’s La Favorita next week-end, the ban will be effective from the first home game of the 2016-17 season, when Verona will be playing in Serie B.

    Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has received a warning for asking representatives of the federal attorney to suspend the game during the half-time of Verona-Juventus using disrespectful words.
